Dr. Omar Zuhair Abdulgader Hafiz “ Chairman” :
Dr. Omar Zuhair graduated with a Ph.D in Economics from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, USA.
Dr. Omar has been serving various reputable Islamic financial institutions in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain including as the Director of Islamic Banks' Office of Islamic Development Bank (“IDB”), the global bank of the Islamic world in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He has played instrumental roles, amongst others, in the setting up of an insurance group, Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) in Saudi Arabia (owned by a group of investors led by IDB) where he is now the President.
In addition to communicating with Central Banks and foreign governments of various countries, Dr. Omar has vast experience in the turning around process and restructuring exercise of several Islamic financial institutions all over the world during his stint as the Director of Islamic Banks’ Office in IDB.

Dr. Haitham Isa Al-Qahtani:  holds a Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tufts, Boston, USA.
Dr. Haitham has vast experience in economic and petroleum related activities having served, amongst others, the Bahrain National Oil Company and the Economic Development Board of the Government of Bahrain respectively.
He developed a number of refinery projects and petrochemical plants within the countries under the Gulf Cooperation Council (”GCC”). He also served the University of Bahrain as a Director to the Energy Research Centre, as a Gas Coordinator of Bahrain National Gas Committee and as an Advisor to the Ministry of Oil and Industry of Bahrain.

Hj. Nor Azmi Abdullah graduated with an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
He is a Board member of several multinational joint venture corporations/organisations dealing in oil and gas, properties and cross–border Islamic banking involving major business and banking groups from the Arabian Gulf countries for activities within the Asia Pacific region and European countries.
His research works on legal aspects relating to establishment of an international legal framework and unified commercial code for cross-border Islamic commercial activities received recognitions from several institutions in the Middle East and Europe including by a Central Bank in an Arabian Gulf country.
He played an instrumental role in the establishment of various joint venture activities in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
